• Roof measurements — pulled from publicly available satellite imagery (via Google’s Solar API) based on the address you provide.
• Technical information — your IP address, browser type, and pages you visit, collected automatically by our website host and analytics services.

We don’t collect payment information on our website (invoices are handled directly), Social Security numbers, or any sensitive personal data beyond what’s needed to give you a roof estimate.

How we use your information

• Calculate and deliver your roof estimate.
• Schedule and perform on-site inspections.
• Send follow-up communications about your project.
• Improve our website and services.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us operate the website and estimate tool (Google Cloud for hosting and roof measurements; Google Sheets for storing leads).
• Advertising platforms (Meta/Facebook, Google) to measure ad performance — only if you arrived through one of our ads.
• Legal requests — only when required by law.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses standard cookies for site functionality. If you arrived from a Facebook or Google ad, those platforms may use cookies or pixels to measure ad performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting our ability to give you an estimate.

Your rights

You can:

• Request a copy of the information we have about you.
• Request that we delete your information.
• Opt out of follow-up communications.

Email admin@compoundllc.dev to make any of these requests. We respond within 14 days.

Data retention

We keep estimate inquiries and contact information for up to three years after your last interaction with us, unless you request earlier deletion or we are required to retain it for tax or legal reasons.

Children’s privacy

Our services are for property owners and aren’t directed at anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be posted prominently on our website.

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of our website and the services we provide. By using our website, requesting an estimate, or hiring Wilcox Roofing for work, you agree to these terms.

Our services

Wilcox Roofing provides residential and small commercial roof installation, replacement, and repair services in Anchorage, Alaska and surrounding areas. Specific services, materials, and scheduling are subject to availability and our discretion.

Instant estimates

Estimates generated by our online instant-estimate tool are non-binding ballpark numbers based on satellite imagery and standard pricing assumptions. They are not contracts and not guaranteed prices. Final pricing requires an on-site inspection and a signed agreement. Your actual price may be lower if the work is straightforward, or higher if we find issues like multiple shingle layers, decking damage, complex flashing, or ventilation that needs work.

Quotes and contracts

A formal written quote is provided only after an on-site inspection. Work begins only after a written agreement signed by both parties. We reserve the right to refuse any project at our discretion.

Payment terms

Payment schedules, deposits, and final amounts are stated in your signed agreement. Typically: a deposit at contract signing, with the remaining balance due on project completion. Late payments may incur the fees specified in your contract.

Warranties

Workmanship is warranted as stated in your signed agreement (typically 5 years on labor). Material warranties pass through from the manufacturer. Warranties may be voided by improper third-party repairs, customer alterations, or damage from storms, fire, or other casualty events.

Cancellation

You may cancel a signed contract within 3 business days of signing for a full refund of any deposit. After that window, deposits become non-refundable to cover materials we have already ordered and scheduling we have committed to.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wilcox Roofing’s liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Wilcox Roofing harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our website or services beyond the scope of our written agreement, or from any inaccurate information you provide to us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Anchorage, Alaska.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when we do. Continuing to use our website or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
